The importance of measurements
My boss has tasked me to make some chairs for them, as we are really short of them, whilst testing my skills. I have made this within a day, and this project shows me the importance of measurements.
The project was done with only scrap woods that was lying around. Originally I made it too high, then I made a shorter one.
I also made this project with another co-worker, though he helped me more with the wood working side as an assistant, whilst I was there to prove my design.
The higher one ended up serving more as a table, with the accompanied shorter chair. It was a nice set.
I made this half hastily, all the measurement were estimated, hence the joints aren’t the prettiest. However the surprising thing was that it was built on 8th April and still lasted till today. Strong.
