Silkalatex
If you have ever needed to fix concrete, you would know that the newly patched concrete never stick to the original. Hence, entered silkalatex.
This magic compound replaces the water you normally mix with cement to make concrete. The project that I was working on that required me to use this compound was the concrete trophy I was making whilst my time in crafter’s lab. As the concrete that came out from the mould weren’t prefect, I had to fix some of them with my hand.
This compound dries harder than normal concrete. Making the wait time before I am able to work on the concrete much faster. It is also said to make the concrete much stronger. Therefore, I would love to try and cast a whole block of trophy with these stuff.
Below shows the comparison between the finish of normal concrete and silkalatex concrete. The Left is sikalatex and the right is normal concrete. Mind that the fix of the normal concrete is much thicker and uneven.
